AutoParts Giant.com, Takes Your $, Should be called “Rip-Off GIANTS.com” Bellflower California!!
I order a cv-half shaft from Auto Parts GIANT.com on March 28, 2008. Within in seconds, the money was taken from my account, yet it took over a month to receive my part. I received my Part on May 2, 2008, after the part was shipped to a wrong address, AutoParts GIANT tried to blame UPS, but we all know UPS delivers to the address on the box, and they match it with the slip you fill out to send your item/s. My part was shipped across the country from where I live. I was not treated right by customer service and they tried to act like it was my fault. I dealt with a salesperson named “Manny”. I literally had to get really ignorant, to get any results. On that day they decided to ship out another part to me, which I then received 4 days later. I should not have had to act nasty and ignorantly to get what I paid for. Now, AutoParts GIANT.com is giving me a hard time about my core return credit of $75. I returned the core and they received it June 2, 2008 (I tracked it). I gave them until the end of June, at which time I called to check on it. I was told, and I did not get the person’s name I spoke with, that it should be in my account by July 21st, it wasn’t. I gave it a week and called back on July 28th. I was then told that they issued it June 8th!! I told them what I was told the first time I called regarding the core credit, they didn’t have a clue! Now I am faced with this investigation they must do, etc., because they are saying they have credited my account. I went into my bank and there was never a credit of $75 put into my account, but they did see the where they took their $146 plus change. I don’t know what route I will take, but I am not going to let them get away with keeping $75. My advice: DO NOT PURCHASE ANYTHING FROM AUTOPARTS GIANT.COM!! Storm Mattapan, MassachusettsU.S.A.
