Giving false information to consumer about a credit card services and agreements
My Complaint: I called the bank inquiring about services available so that I could pay off my credit card debt sooner or available services with lower interest fees. I was told that there was a credit card available to transfer my existing debt with a $25.00 quarterly credit to my balance if I pay more than my existing monthly payment. Two months ago I should have received the $25.00 credit to my balance and I didn’t. I called the bank and inquired about it. I was told it would appear on my next statement. I waited the month and when I received my statement it was not there again. I called again and was told it would appear on the next statement because I had to make three consecutive payments more than my existing payment which I explained that I did, at this point I was told it would show up on the next statement because the quarter was three months. Again the following month it was not there, I was then told that quarterly was four months. Well it is four months and they are not maintaining or following up on there word as previously stated and agreed to..
