I recently switched to Dish Network, only to discover that I was sold the worst product on the market. First of all, the lady that took my order went on and on about how great Dish’s customer service is. So far, it has been anything but. Their customer service does not even compete with some of the worst I have encountered. When I was placing my order, I asked specific questions about how the service operated and was given false information. After pulling a bait and switch, meaning my bill turned out to be twice what was promised after installation, I tried out the on demand and DVR services. They don’t work with the equipment they installed. I am paying for the services, and they don’t work. I called with a simple request, please send someone to check this equipment. I was told that they are showing my service working fine on their end and refuse to send anyone. My second request was, If it doesn’t work properly then I should be let out of my contract not happening. I was literally told that I was stuck with this working this way and they did not have to do anything about it. As soon as my cancellation fee becomes affordable, I’m done. This has been one of the worst mistakes I have made.
