I ordered a bug shield from this outfit, based on my specific vehicle information. When I received the item, it did not fit and in fact clearly stated it was not for my vehicle. Since I ordered over the net, I used their email to ask for return instructions and that I wanted a refund. Also I informed them it was their mistake, wrong part, assome companies will pay for return shipping if it is clearly their fault. Not this one! I returned it via UPS and it arrived at their warehouse 15 Dec 2010. Cost me $20.73. Thank God for UPS tracking numbers! The return manager, Randy Foley initially disputed that they had even received it, but UPS showed differently. I was then informed by Mr. Foley that they would be sending out an exchange. No! I want a refund! Clearly stated from the very beginning. I then grew tired of email exchanges and called Mr. Foley’s direct line, no answer. It ended up talking to a Teresa, told her the story and again that I just wanted a refund. I had followed all their return instructions, they had the returned part. She left me a message that my refund would be -20% restocking fee. This was never disclosed, but the whole business was their initial mistake. Never do business with Truck Addons. I wish I would have checked this website prior to my initial order. I quick google seasrch will show that I am not alone in this, Truck Addon’sbrand of customer service.
